Not much to report other than continued progress on Cassie. Still no seizures - but we have had a few anxious moments over the last few nights. A feeling of despair starts to settle in as we hear her call from her bedroom . . . but it turns out not to be a seizure - - - just a scare and some pent-up anxiety. She's not out of the woods yet, by any stretch. But we are continuing to rejoice in her improvement.
The picture is of the remaining at home Harris Family (Ty is living in Kenai, Chelsie in Greenfield, Indiana) a hike we were able to take earlier this month. Nothing too strenuous. Just a drive followed by a short hike, really.
I would like to report more about specifics at ACC, but I guess I am just being cautious. We have always had to be sensitive on how much we share, but now even more so when it comes to students and federal laws re. their privacy. Suffice it to say for now (until I get a better feel what is and is not OK to share) that we feel right at home and are excited about the impact Kris is having on students with whom she works closely.
There or in the air!
